  The media studies portfolio project is an open door to creativity in a multitude of ways.  The approach to creating a magazine is something I have  yet to attempt which is intimidating but exciting at the same time. In  the Ted Talk given by a Disney creative director , the speaker explains how crucial it is for a  naive  expert to  develop initial ideas.   I have chosen to complete the  Media Studies portfolio with Kevin Love , and w e are going to c reate two  separate issues of  a  magazine.  I  usually prefer to work alone for projects, especially those involving graphic design, b ut after reading articles and working through team exercises in class, I’ve decided to branch out and work with another person. Last year, Kevi n and I sat at the same table in Global Perspectives and worked through the challenges and demands of that class, so we have a general understanding  of each other's interests and skillset. To supplement this ,   we reviewed our social media presences together.
